2. Why do we process your data?
We process the data you supply to obtain the necessary information for this application and, where appropriate, to complete your purchase the product in question.
3. What is the legal basis for processing your data?
The legal basis is the purpose explained in the previous paragraph, namely to obtain necessary information for your application. Accordingly, if you refuse to supply the personal data requested, or if you supply inaccurate or incomplete data, we may not be able to provide you with the service. You are responsible for ensuring the truthfulness of the data provided, and for notifying Bankinter if there is any change to your data.
4. Who will receive your data?
Unless legally obliged, we will not disclose your data to any third parties.
5. How long will we keep your data?
Unless you have indicated otherwise, we will keep your data for six months. As soon as they are no longer necessary for the purposes described above, the data will be blocked for the period for which they may be required for carrying out, or defending, administrative or legal actions, and they may only be unblocked and processed again for this purpose. At the end of this period your data will be completely erased.
6. What are your rights in relation to the processing of your data?
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability in the circumstances and under the scope established by the applicable legislation currently in force. €100 campaign: Promotion valid until 03.31.2027 for a maximum of 1,000 new customers with an active Salary or Youth Salary Account (minimum monthly income of €500). This is a campaign aimed at individuals, residents in Spain, who have not previously received this benefit. The maximum period for making the first deposit, which must be equal to or greater than the amount declared as salary (cash deposits not included), will be three months from the date the Salary or Youth Salary Account is opened. As an additional condition, the account must remain active for the following 12 months. The payment for 100 € will be made the day after the account is activated. As the recipient you will be required to pay the relevant taxes on the bonus payment as well as any tax withholding or payment on account that Bankinter may be legally required to make. The cashback constitutes a monetary return subject to withholding or payment on account. Since it is a monetary return, its withholding tax base would be the result of increasing its acquisition value or cost to Bankinter by 20%. Bankinter will be responsible for withholding the payment on account, in accordance with the legislation in force at all times. If the terms and conditions agreed in a commercial offer are not met and you therefore have to “repay” some or all of the amounts paid, your account will be debited for the gross amount that you received. All of the above should be understood without prejudice to the tax regulations applicable in the Navarrese and Basque chartered regions. This promotion cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
Digital Account: Offer for new customers who open the account on bankinter.com and have not been customers in the past six months. Maintenance fee €0/year. Interest based on the average balance in the account in each settlement period, with a maximum interest-bearing balance of €100,000 at 2.96% NIR (3% AER). Remuneration guaranteed until 30.04.2027; subsequently according to prevailing rate. Interest paid monthly. Example: for a balance of €100,000, the gross annual interest would be €2,470, applying an AER of 3% calculated for one year, assuming that the NIR of 2.96% remains constant for 12 months.
Monthly cash bonus of €50.00 gross (€40.50 net) when you arrange for a salary or pension of at least €850 to be paid directly into your account: Promotion valid until - or until the first 50,000 Digital Accounts opened from 15.09.26, for adults residing in Spain who are not already Bankinter customers and who open a Digital Account between 15.09.26 and -, set up a direct debit for a salary or pension of a value equal to or greater than €850 per month and keep the account active with the Bank for the 12 months following the account opening.
The promotion consists of a monthly payment of €50.00 gross (€40.50 net) into the associated Bankinter account. The payment will be made monthly during the first 15 days of the month, once compliance with the requirements established in the promotion has been verified.
The customer may benefit from the bonus, provided they meet the established requirements, but may only receive it monthly and for a maximum of 12 months, with a maximum review period of 13 months; it is not cumulative if more than one salary or pension is direct debited, or if there is more than one account holder.
The bonus will be treated as investment income and will be subject to the corresponding withholding tax or payment on account. The above shall be understood without prejudice to the specific tax regulations applicable in the autonomous communities of Navarre and the Basque Country.
